Hi Guys! Loved reading your blog, and love the Instagram updates! Your apartment is GORGEOUS and though the heat is unbearable, you both look so happy :) :) :)
Travel Advice: I have none that hasn't already been mentioned. But you two will have lots of advice for us followers as your adventure unfolds!
So so happy to see pictures of your lovely faces and of the surroundings! Keep Shari g as I can feel as if I was there with you!!! Love you always❤️From Mimi
Travel Advice: Be open, curious and brave. Try new things and immerse yourself in local culture.
Regarding the first issue: --Love hearing about your adventures. It's fun to imagine all of the experiences you're having. I'm really interested in details on the food. What's the restaurant scene like? Is it all counter service? --Or are you mainly exploring street food? What's the best food/meal each of you has discovered so far?
It’s tough to be brave in such a big city, but we’re doing it! And most of the food is sit down service. Almost all the street food is that way! We’ve been going to restaurants in street food interchangeably. Notably when I got bánh mì (Vietnamese sandwich on French bread) I ordered it from a street stall. It was less than a dollar!
This is so exciting, Zach! I’m in a similar place, except I’m in another part of Southeast Asia learning about my home country. And the best way to learn to love a place? Eat locally! I would love to know what you and yours loved 💖 Asian food crawl? Sign me right up!
That advice is ON POINT! I’m definitely working my way through street food. My favorite so far is bún chả (soup with pork meatballs), but I’m keen to try snail soup and these shrimp pancakes they make here. Of course Phò is amazing 🤤!
